⏱ Deadline & entries
A run counts only if its result reaches the server before the deadline (—). No grace period. Castle entry closes 20 minutes before it (—), so you never start a run you cannot finish.
Who may play
- Castle: one free run per account for the season, then a castle ticket from the Field, then 10 CT.
- Field: one free run a day (00:00 UTC), then 10 CT.
- No account? One free castle run per device (Naturally Good) — log in afterwards to lock it in. Or the 5-minute demo.
- Paying: from your own wallet (MetaMask or any regular wallet on Pentagon Chain). Smart-contract accounts and Points are not used.
Season map: Siege Test — the same for everyone.
🏰 Castle playbook
Score: time held (+2/s), soldiers (+5), enemy Masters (+150), tiers survived (+100) and keeps: 1,000 × tier.
- Keeps are the score. Three keeps beat twice the time doing nothing.
- Every keep rises harder (+12 % enemy HP, +8 % damage). Bank it, then decide.
- Bring siege engines — range 30 outreaches wall archers (~17) and towers (~29). Screen them with footmen.
- Rented Masters join you, two every 15 s up to 9. Unrented ones pour in against you — +150 each.
- 🎁 Paid runs roll a chest when you take ≥ 1 keep and hold ≥ 5 min, win or lose. Fixed odds on-chain: 50 % 1 CT · 30 % 5 · 14 % 12 · 5 % 20 · 1 % 100. If the chest pool is short, the chest is empty.
- VIP? Your first castle run is your Naturally Good score — warm up in the Field first.
⚔ Field playbook
Best field score counts on the field board. Hold 10 minutes (the Tide) for a castle ticket (7 days).
- The first two minutes are a gift — raiders deal 30 % damage until 2:00. Build, don't chase.
- 8 hero kills call your relief column early.
- Kill the warlord and the raid breaks — +500 × tier.
- Barbarians hit both sides — let them soften the enemy, then finish them (+20, chieftain +60).
- After the Tide, Masters decide it: +25 % base damage per enemy Master, −20 % per yours.
🎭 Masters, gold & units
- Masters you rent or own fight only on your side; every one you don't rides against you. Rent first, then start a run.
- Gold buys stats in the Hero Shop (spawn circle or a base). Items survive death. Spend it.
- Line units evolve after 45 s of fighting: +50 % HP, +40 % damage. Keep them alive.
- NFTs: EF Genesis unlocks Leah; PentaPets pick your line pets (elements ×1.5 / ×0.7).

Every entry is split on-chain the moment it is paid:

⚖ VIP & fair play
- Naturally Good is VIP1+ only: VIP when the first castle run is played and still VIP1+ at the deadline (re-checked then). A moved VIP pays one account.
- One account per person. Scores are audited; impossible scores are capped. Cheating = permanent ecosystem ban.
- The season is live-tuned: fixes ship weekly; scores on the board stay.
